Classification Of The Use Of UV Lamps

- Dec 06, 2018-

1. Low-pressure UV lamps, that is, germicidal lamps, are mainly used for sterilization and disinfection. In addition, UV-B is mainly used for ultraviolet inspection and medical treatment.

2. The strong ultraviolet high-pressure mercury lamp is made of high-quality pure quartz tube, which makes the ultraviolet energy high and a large amount of penetration. The arc length/light length can range from 5 cm to 300 cm, and the common power is 30 W per cm. 200W, ultra-high power UV lamp is generally operated at 200W or above per cm. The spectrum of the lamp is between 350-450nm, the main peak is 365nm, there are more than 700 varieties, the power is from 100w-25kw. UV curing is called in English. UV Curing or UV Coating, UV curing is a photochemical reaction in which a liquid UV-irradiated curable material is printed or coated onto a substrate or workpiece surface and cured by UV light. UV curing is similar to a conventional drying process. However, the principle is different, the conventional drying is generally hardened by the volatilization of the solvent in the coating material, and the UV curing cross-linking is solvent-free.

3. A metal halide lamp is added with iron blending, potassium blending or other rare earth metal element blending on the basis of a mercury UV lamp containing mercury and argon. Iron-blended halogen lamps have particularly enhanced 380 hm as the highest peak. Mainly used for the curing of inks, paints, dry film, wet film, green solder mask. Coloring in screen printing and curing, especially for thicker coatings and white, black drying has outstanding effects.
